Navigating the TASB Colleges Website
TASB community college members have access to tasbcolleges.org, a website tailored specifically to TASB community college member needs.
To help our college members ensure they access college-specific content, we’ve put together some helpful tips for navigating the site.
Getting Started
It is highly recommended that members log in to tasbcolleges.org before getting started. Some resources are not visible to the public. Logging in will allow members to see all areas of the website they can access.
Some links on the college website may direct users to content located on the tasb.org website because the information is consistent with the information we provide school districts. This content will usually pop out in a new tab. Return to the original tab to continue browsing the college website.
Member Dashboard
The Dashboard is a centralized place for members to access quick links, saved favorites, subscribed services, and announcements and reminders.
The My Services area of the Dashboard will include expandable menus for each subscribed service.
HR Services contacts will have a Human Resources section in the My Services area. This will include links to TASB HR DataSource™, the HR Services Resource Library, College Job Descriptions, and the College Employee Handbook and associated files.
The Legal section of My Services includes a link to College eLaw.
Return to the Dashboard at anytime by clicking the Dashboard link on the upper right side of the screen.
Resources
The Resources dropdown menu includes links to TASB College eLaw, the HR Services Resource Library, and the Community College Legal Update Newsletter.
The HR Services Resource Library houses the HR Library files and topics, Model Job Descriptions, and the Model Employee Handbook.
As a reminder, for members to see all available resources, they should log in before navigating the website.
News & Insights
Within the News & Insights page, you can search by keyword or phrase, or you can use the filters along the left side of the page to narrow the search by topic. Discover an article you know you’ll want to reference again? Click Save to Favorites so you can quickly and easily access it later via the Dashboard.
Training & Events
Browse and register for scheduled events or schedule local or regional training through the Training & Events section of site. Use the filters on the left side of the page to search by topic, event type, category, audience, or date.

Sarah James joined HR Services in 2019. Prior to that, she worked at a Central Texas school district for 11 years. She is responsible for managing web content, HR Services articles, HRX newsletter, social media accounts, and marketing efforts.
James has a bachelor’s degree in communications from Concordia University Texas in Austin.
