Over the weekend, TASB launched a new tasb.org with an upgraded member dashboard, enhanced search features, and all new branding, plus a brand new website for our community college members – tasbcolleges.org.
In an effort to ease the transition, we’ve put together some helpful tips for HR Services members to navigate the new site and quickly find what they’re looking for.
Finding What You Need
It is highly recommended that members get in the habit of logging in to the new website before getting started. Some resources are not visible to the public. Logging in will allow members to see all areas of the website they can access.
The Dashboard is a centralized place for members to access their services, announcements and reminders, upcoming training and events, and the latest educational news. HR Services contacts will have a Human Resources section in the My Services area. This will include links straight to TASB HR DataSource™, the HR Services Resource Library, Model Job Descriptions, the Model Employee Handbook and associated files, and the TASB Store.
Additionally, anything you save as a “Favorite” can be accessed via the blue My Saved Favorites button.
The HR Services Resource Library
The HR Services Resource Library houses the HR Library files and topics, Model Job Descriptions, the Model Employee Handbook, and salary survey highlights as well as survey samples, assistance files, and FAQs. After you log in, you’ll find the HR Services Resource Library in the Resources dropdown menu.
Although our dedicated HRX page has been retired, our content lives on! You will now find HR Services’ HRX articles in the News & Insights section. To see News & Insights from HR Services, select Human Capital from the Categories section of the filters.
Within the News & Insights page, you can also search by keyword or phrase, or you can use the filters along the left side of the page to narrow the search by topic. There are so many ways to find what you’re looking for! Discover an article you know you’ll want to reference again? Click Save to Favorites so you can quickly and easily access it later via the Dashboard.
Training & Events
Browse and register for our scheduled statewide, virtual workshops; view recorded webinars; and schedule local or regional training through the Training & Events section of site. Use the filters on the left side of the page to search by topic, event type, category, audience, or date. Select the Human Resources filter under the Audience header to see what HR Services offers.
