Policy Service’s Regulations Resource Manual Getting an Upgrade

TASB Policy Service is announcing a new look, new features, and easier access within Policy Online® that will make it simpler to use the Regulations Resource Manual as a starting point for developing district regulations and forms.

On March 31, TASB Policy Service rolled out an updated RRM experience designed to help find and use model documents faster and with more confidence.

“This update is all about making the RRM easier to use and more valuable for our members,” said Amanda Bigbee, Policy Service division director. “By bringing these resources directly into Policy Online and adding clearer descriptions and supporting materials, we’re helping districts find what they need faster with greater confidence.”

What Changed

The collection of model documents are available directly in the Governance and Management Library. When members are signed in to Policy Online, they no longer need to log in to a separate site to access these resources.

Other improvements include:

  • Descriptions for each item, so you know what it’s about before downloading
  • Sample forms and resolutions as separate documents, so you can use only what you need
  • Links to articles and additional resources for developing administrative procedures

For a complete walk-through of the new RRM platform, watch this video. A user’s guide is also available to members.
