This year’s TASB/TASA Superintendent Salary Survey is accepting responses!

Superintendents received an email invitation to participate on Tuesday, July 14, and a reminder was sent on Tuesday, July 21 to those who had not yet responded.

Additional HR Services contacts received an invite link if the district’s survey was not completed by Tuesday, Aug. 4. As a reminder, each district receives a single link to complete the survey. The survey invite can be forwarded to the employee best suited to submit the district’s data.

The deadline for survey submission is Thursday, September 3rd. There will be no deadline extension this year.

Since the survey launch:

  • Surveys were submitted by 247 Texas public schools. Of those, 81 districts completed their survey within the first day.
  • The median enrollment of participants so far is 927 students, and 30 participants have more than 5,000 students.
  • At this time, 57 superintendents are new to their district, and 47 are first-time superintendents.
