Updated: The Administrator’s Guide to Educator Certification

The Administrator’s Guide to Educator Certification from TASB HR Services was updated to include recent changes resulting from the 89th Legislative Session.

Updates to the guide include:

  • Types of teacher certificates
  • Prohibition of uncertified teachers for specific positions
  • Wording and eligibility for school district teaching permits
  • Addition of the temporary educator certificate
  • Licensure of military service members, veterans, and spouses
  • Licensure of speech-language pathologist and audiologist
