HR Surveys Data Now Available

Graphic with the text TASB HR Surveys Update

Data from the 2022-2023 TASB HR Surveys is now available in TASB HRDataSource™.

Slightly fewer districts completed the surveys this year than last year, totaling 397 so far compared to 415 last year. Participation is above 2020-2021, when we had a more severe ice storm during survey administration.

Please note individual HR Survey reports have fewer (Teacher & Substitute Practices – 392 districts) or greater (HR Department – 454 districts) responses in the current reports. This is due to data clarifications still pending and partial surveys with sections complete and ready to use.

Reports cover the following topics:

  • HR Department (staff, HR responsibilities, HRIS)
  • Contracts (superintendent, teacher, and administrator/professional)
  • Teacher & Substitute Practices (professional development, dual credit, CTE, supplemental/summer, substitutes)
  • Benefits & Leaves (health insurance, supplemental benefits, leaves)

To view HR Surveys data, log in to TASB HRDataSource™, select HR Reports, then choose the topic and district criteria for your report. The report will display in your browser and can be downloaded in PDF or Excel format.

For the added Vacancies and Strategic Staffing and Game Worker Rates sections, a PDF summary of results will be sent in April to districts that responded to these survey sections.

If you have questions about TASB HRDataSource™ or our surveys, please contact salary.survey@tasb.org or call 800-580-7782 to speak to an analyst.
