HR Services Model Employee Handbooks Updated
The 2025 updated district and community college Model Employee Handbooks are now available online.
The May update for districts includes two new topics: ADA Accommodations and Mental Health Training.
The community college update includes three new topics: ADA Accommodations, Pregnant and Parenting Students, and Hazing. An update to the standards of conduct is included to reflect policy changes in Update 47.
Both handbooks include editorial changes to ensure the text accurately reflects policy and legal provisions.

A second update will be issued in July to address changes from the 89th Session of the Texas Legislature, if needed.
