Significant legislative changes impacting how misconduct and child abuse are reported in Texas are set to take effect for the 2025-2026 school year. This timely webinar will provide a comprehensive overview of key provisions introduced through Senate Bill (SB) 571 and House Bill (HB) 4623.

Participants will learn about the expanded reporting requirements for employee misconduct, the inclusion of certain service providers under these mandates, and the updated expectations for pre-employment and pre-service affidavits.

Additionally, the webinar will cover new liability standards for public schools and school professionals in cases of sexual misconduct or failure to report abuse, effective September 1, 2025. Attending this webinar will help districts ensure compliance and strengthen institutional safeguards and HR processes.
