School equipment is exposed to unique risks such as short-circuits, overloading, and control failures. Spend a day with the Fund and our trusted vendor HSB learning how to avoid unbudgeted expenses and operational disruptions that come with equipment failure.

Sessions:

Boiler Operations and Maintenance
This workshop is designed for facilities with steam and/or hot water heating boilers. It provides a basic understanding of the fundamental principles of proper boiler operation and maintenance, regulatory requirements for this equipment, and how to prepare for mandated equipment inspections.

Electrical Preventive Maintenance
This workshop is designed for operations staff that work on and around electrical equipment. It provides the fundamentals of electrical maintenance, how to protect your electrical system from damage caused by adverse condition, and managing common electrical system components including transformers and circuit breakers.
