Odessa College and the University of Texas Permian Basin have teamed up to offer a three-year accelerated teaching program to tackle teacher shortages.
Students participating in the OC2UTPB program will spend a year and a half at each campus and have the option to take day, night, and weekend classes. Approximately 150 students are expected to participate in the first class of this program. Upon completion of the program, students will earn a Bachelor of Arts along with a teaching certificate.
