TASB HR Services is pleased to announce its newest resource for colleges—model job descriptions.
The new community college job descriptions are available to members of HR Services and can be downloaded from our myTASB resources page (login required).
A total of 85 model job descriptions grouped into three categories—Academics & Student Services, Administration, and Operations are available. Various job levels are included within each category and can be edited to reflect the unique roles specific to the college. Sample job descriptions by category include:
Academics & Student Services:
Administration:
- President/Chancellor
- Vice President
- Director
- Accountant
- Executive Assistant
- Administrative Assistant
Operations:
- Director
- Supervisor
- Police Officer
- Journeyman license trades
TASB HR Services plans to develop and add more college job descriptions soon. Other valuable college resources available to members include the Model Employee Handbook and TASB HRDataSource™ survey data and reports (e.g., Community College Faculty Pay, and Other College Benchmark Jobs).
