HR Survey Update

On January 20, TASB HR Services opened participation in the HR Surveys for 2021–2022.

Last year the HR Surveys saw a significant participation increase compared to the surveys done from 2012 to 2019, and that participation increase makes the data even more valuable to our members.

This year’s survey has a great response rate so far. The first three days saw 51 districts complete the survey and an additional 24 districts finished at least two sections. A sincere thank you to those early participants!

The main survey contact in each district received an email invitation to participate, and additional contacts will receive reminder emails next month if the district has not yet participated.

The HR Surveys contain four topics that members can complete in the order they choose. This survey requests details about:

  1. HR Department (staff, HR responsibilities, HRIS)
  2. Contracts (superintendent, teacher, and administrator/professional)
  3. Teacher & Substitute Practices (professional development, dual credit, CTE, supplemental/summer pay, teacher/nonteacher substitutes)
  4. Benefits & Leaves (health insurance, supplemental benefits, leaves)

We expect the data to be available in TASB HRDataSource™ by late March.
