HR Services’ Leave Trainings Go Virtual

TASB HR Services will provide two leave-related workshops updated to include Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) scenarios.

In a normal year, HR Services’ Managing State and Federal Leave and Get a Grip on the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) are important trainings for district staff. This is not a normal year. The FFCRA adds an extra layer of complexity making these workshops a vital component in administering leave.

Managing State and Federal Leave will take place on September 23 and September 24 from 9–11:30 a.m. each day. Participants will get the information they need to understand state and federal leave benefits, define local leave policy and benefits, and administer leave effectively.

Get a Grip on the Family and Medical Leave Act will take place on October 7 and October 8 from 9–11:30 a.m. each day. In this training, participants will learn about determining eligibility, understanding qualifying events, meeting employer obligations, and more.

Expect to have fun, learn a lot, and perhaps win a door prize! To register for one or both of these virtual workshops, visit the HR Services Training Calendar.
