United ISD Votes to Hire Gerardo Cruz

On August 13, the United ISD Board of Trustees voted to hire Gerardo Cruz as the district’s new superintendent. Cruz most recently served as an Assistant Superintendent at Laredo ISD. He began his career as a Teacher in Laredo ISD. Cruz has also served as Principal and Director of Secondary Education and Federal Programs, all at Laredo ISD.
