TRS-ActiveCare Rates Announced

Typing on laptop computer

TRS-ActiveCare rates will remain the same or decrease for the 2022–2023 school year.

In January, the Teacher Retirement System (TRS) of Texas announced a move to a regional pricing system for TRS-ActiveCare beginning September 1, 2022. However, a recent TRS News Release stated the TRS Board voted to ensure no premium rate increases for 2022–2023 thanks to federal Coronavirus Relief Funds (CRF). In some cases, participants may see a lower premium.

More information regarding TRS-ActiveCare regional pricing can be found in the HRX article TRS-ActiveCare Moves to Regional Pricing and on the TRS website.
