Revisions: Educators’ Code of Ethics

The revised 19 Texas Administrative Code (TAC) § 247, Educators’ Code of Ethics, is effective as of August 2, 2026. The revision implements Senate Bill (SB) 571 and SB 12 of the 89th Texas Legislature, Regular Session.
HR Services will communicate with members via email to share language for updating district employee handbooks. The updated policies will be available in early 2027.
