Revisions: Educators’ Code of Ethics
Proposed revisions to 19 Texas Administrative Code (TAC) § 247, Educators’ Code of Ethics, are projected to go into effect on August 2, 2026.
The proposed amendment will implement Senate Bill (SB) 571 and SB 12 of the 89th Texas Legislature, Regular Session.
Revisions are not yet in effect. HR Services will communicate with members after the effective date to share language for updating district employee handbooks.
