Raymond Reelected to State Association Board
Austin— Tony Raymond of Sabine ISD has been reelected to a three-year term on the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Board of Directors, representing TASB Region 7. The election was held during the Association’s 2025 Delegate Assembly on Sept. 13 in Houston.
Raymond is president of the Sabine ISD Board of Trustees, a position he has held since 2016. He was elected to the board in 2004. In 2016, he helped establish the Sabine Education Foundation. Since its inception, the foundation has raised more than $1 million to support teacher grants and student scholarships.
Raymond is a business technology specialist with Ubeo Business Services, where he partners with organizations across East Texas to improve workflow and document management systems. He brings more than 25 years of experience in sales and business development across multiple industries.
Outside of work, Raymond is active in his community. He joined Rotary International in 2012 and has held leadership positions within his local club. He is also involved with Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, helping young people develop leadership skills. Since 2005, he has served as a scout leader with Boy Scout Troop 259, where he continues to mentor youth and train adult volunteers.
