Holubec Elected to State Association Board

Austin— Bryan Holubec of Thrall ISD has been elected to a three-year term on the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Board of Directors, representing TASB Region 13, Position C. The election was held during the Association’s 2024 Delegate Assembly on Sept. 28 in San Antonio.

Holubec joined the Thrall ISD Board in 2011 and is currently serving as president. 

He graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s in construction science and accepted a commission into the U.S. Marine Corps in May 1988. His active duty service as a combat engineer ended in December 1992. Holubec is currently a consultant in the real estate development industry.

Holubec is an active member of the Central Texas School Boards Association, where he is vice-president of small districts, and is a charter member and organizer of the Thrall Community Education Foundation. He is a Leadership TASB graduate and Master Trustee.
