Harris Elected to State Association Board
Austin— Regina Harris of Richardson ISD (RISD) has been elected to a three-year term on the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Board of Directors, representing TASB Region 10, Position B. The election was held during the Association’s 2025 Delegate Assembly on Sept. 13 in Houston.
Harris is a proud graduate of RISD and has a deep connection to the district. She was first elected to the RISD Board of Trustees in 2019 and has served in every officer role.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in public relations from Grambling State University and has certifications in Equal Employment Opportunity investigations, EEO counseling, mediation, and parent education.
She has experience in student development, training, and equal opportunity initiatives and a passion for helping students succeed through effective leadership, training expertise, and unwavering advocacy for educational equity.
