The Medicaid and School Health and Related Services (SHARS) programs are often complicated and confusing. Your team can tap into expert knowledge with our monthly SHARS Matters webinar series.
Led by the experienced School Medicaid Services team, with 100 years combined experience in SHARS and special education, these webinars are free and open to eligible Texas school districts. They are also eligible for State Board for Educator Certification Continuing Professional Education hours.
All webinars are held on the third Wednesday of the month during the school year, except in March. Attendees will be given an opportunity to ask our experts questions following the presentations.

With more than 14 years at the Health and Human Services Commission — seven of which he focused on SHARS — Dario Avila has a wealth of experience. At TASB, he provides complimentary consultations, trainings, updates, and program reviews focused on SHARS to all Texas school districts.
