Due to changes to the FBI database, some Speech-Language Pathologist and Audiologist licensees must submit a new set of fingerprints before their renewal application will be approved.
Those who renew their license online will get a receipt of the renewal application and fee paid, but if new fingerprints are required, the renewal will not be approved until the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) receives and processes the fingerprints.
To determine if new fingerprints are needed, visit the TDLR Fingerprint Lookup online database. Licensees who need to submit fingerprints will be given their TDLR agency identifier (TDLR entity number), which is needed to schedule an appointment, and the direct link to book the appointment.
The online database is updated at the beginning of each month.
