Work-Site Posters for 2020

At the start of each school year employers often ask if state and federal posters need to be updated.

The content of the TASB work-site posters has not changed in the past few years. Content of each notice is consistent with required state and federal notices.

However, the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) recently updated the notice of unemployment benefits, which is unique for each entity. Employers can request a model notice from TWC and post copies on each poster.

In addition to the federal work-site poster, covered employers must post a notice of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) requirements in a conspicuous place on its premises. An employer may satisfy this requirement by emailing or direct mailing this notice to employees or posting this notice on an employee information internal or external website. The notice can also be posted alongside existing posters.

Additional information on the FFCRA notice requirements is available from the Department of Labor (DOL).

A list of all required postings and links to each agency's notice are available in the HR Library topic Work-Site Posting Requirements. A checklist to determine if facilities have the correct notices posted also is available. Work-Site Posters for Texas Public Employers can be ordered through the TASB Store.
