TEA Dashboards Updated
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) has updated the Educator Production dashboards to reflect newly certified and newly hired teachers during the 2024-2025 school year.
The Newly Certified and New Teacher Hires dashboard updates include:
- Addition of the 2024-2025 data
- Implementation of a minimum of 0.5 FTE to be included in the newly hired teacher population
- Addition of “previously part-time teachers” as a pathway for new hires
The data includes all individuals who are newly prepared teachers available to teach and newly hired teachers for each school year spanning from 2009-2010 through 2024-2025. The interactive dashboard views include:
- Newly Certified & New Teacher Hires – newly hired teachers by certification type and region
- Newly Certified Teachers by EPP (Educator Preparation Program) – newly prepared teachers who are available to teach
- New Hires by School System – newly hired teachers by pathway, region, school system, and geographic setting
- New Hires by School System and EPP – newly hired teachers by region, school system, or certification category in correlation to the educator preparation program completed
Visit the TEA webpage Newly Certified and New Teacher Hires Dashboards to access the data. Additional information can be found on the TEA Educator Reports and Data webpage.
