Welch Reelected to State Association Board
Austin— Greg Welch of Clyde CISD has been reelected to a three-year term on the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Board of Directors, representing TASB Region 14. The election was held during the Association’s 2023 Delegate Assembly on Sept. 30 in Dallas.
Welch has served on Clyde CISD Board since 1998, including 13 years as president and three years as vice-president.
He attended Angelo State University and went on to work as a machinist and production manager at Froman Manufacturing, Inc. He currently works as a manufacturing plant manager for Ludlum Measurement, Inc., where he has been employed since 2002.
Since 2010, he has served as secretary for the Callahan County Appraisal District Board. He also has been active on the boards of multiple youth sports organizations.
