TASB Risk Management Fund Launches New Website to Better Serve Members

Austin— The TASB Risk Management Fund is pleased to announce the launch of a new website to offer an enhanced online experience as part of its ongoing commitment to better serve members with innovative and continuous improvements.

“We are very excited to unveil the new website because it not only looks better and is mobile-friendly but it’s also easier to navigate and has more resources,” said Mary Barrett, associate executive director for Risk Management Services. “Most importantly, the new single-sign-on experience makes it easier for members to access all the resources they need to support risk management in their organization.”

While the location of the new is the same, logging into the website offers the best experience as it opens the door for key applications and member resources. Fund members will use their same preferred email address that they use to log into

Logging in should be the first step for members when they visit to ensure a personalized experience with access to the specific Fund coverage programs and resources used by their organization.

TASB Executive Director Dan Troxell applauded the new website and the Fund’s longstanding commitment — as one of the largest and oldest risk pools in the U.S. — to providing outstanding service and resources for its members. TASB administers the Fund, which is aligned to the mission of supporting public education through comprehensive and responsive risk solutions.

“Our commitment is to always prioritize the needs of those we serve — namely school districts and public education entities — by providing programs, products and services that enhance member experience,” Troxell said. “Creating a modern and useful website is essential to our mission of supporting public school districts and their communities.”

Some of the enhanced features of the new include a personalized dashboard for members, with quick access to:

  • Fund coverage participation information, so you know how your organization participates in the Fund
  • Links to report claims and loss history reports, so you can keep tabs on your organization's claims
  • Coverage-specific resources to help you manage risks for your organization
  • Announcements and notifications to keep you in the loop
  • Upcoming training and recent insights

“Our new website is both a big improvement and a big change for the more than 1,000 Fund members that we serve,” Barrett said. “We want to thank the Fund’s Board of Trustees for its support of this effort. We’re ready to assist Fund members who have questions about the new site or logging in. We know our members will continue to see the Fund’s long history and tradition of providing excellent customer service, coverage programs and training. The new website supports that.”
