New Resource: Evaluating Master Schedule Efficiencies
TASB HR Services has produced a new resource for school districts providing guidance and best practices in evaluating master schedule efficiencies.
To find cost savings within tight budgets and to improve efficiencies in instructional models, school districts are opting to evaluate campus master schedules as an opportunity for organizational change and staffing improvements.
When schools make time to intentionally analyze staffing decisions such as the impact of the master schedule, they will more effectively meet the needs of their students and the staff who work diligently to provide students with opportunities for success.

Jennifer Barton
Jennifer Barton joined HR Services in 2018. She supervises a team of consultants providing staffing reviews, HR consulting, and employee opinion surveys for Texas school districts. In addition to overseeing and conducting consulting projects, Barton provides training and guidance to district leaders and assists with resource planning and development for HR Services.
Barton earned master’s degrees in education and educational leadership from The University of Texas at Austin and Lamar University. She holds a Texas superintendent certificate and is a SHRM-CP.
