When compiling its resources on religion in public schools, TASB worked closely with the First Amendment Center. The First Amendment Center is a nonprofit organization with offices at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, and in Washington, D.C.  The First Amendment Center provides education and information about First Amendment issues, including freedom of speech and assembly and religious liberty.  The First Amendment Center’s website offers commentary, news reports, case summaries, FAQs, guidelines, and publications on the topic of religious expression in the public schools.
