Kelly Grab, Community College Policy Specialist

Kelly Grab

Kelly Grab joined TASB Community Colleges Services as a Policy Specialist in June 2016. As a Policy Specialist, Kelly advises Texas community colleges on policy issues, analyzes community college policy, and assists in the development and maintenance of up-to-date and legally viable local policies for community colleges. She also works with the Manager of Community College Policy Services to provide policy services to community colleges, including the coordination of the community college update and the development and maintenance of Policy Service publications.

Prior to joining TASB, Kelly worked at several institutions of higher education in residential life, student conduct, and most recently as a civil rights/Title IX investigator. She has received extensive training and experience in trauma-informed investigations, victim-advocacy, and violence prevention. Kelly earned an MS Ed in higher education and student affairs from Indiana University (Bloomington, IN) and a BA in English from Moravian College (Bethlehem, PA). Kelly is an active member of the Association for Student Conduct Administration and has presented on a number of topics including residential student conduct, sexual violence climate surveys, and third party adjudication models at the annual convention and as webinars.

Kelly provides consulting and policy development and maintenance services to localized community colleges.
