Joined TASB as associate executive director in August 2002. He has worked in education for 35 years, serving as teacher, principal, assistant superintendent, and superintendent. He has served as superintendent of public schools in Oregon, Georgia, and Mississippi, and assistant superintendent for business and operations services in Arizona. He is immediate past-chair of the National Association of Superintendent Searchers.
