You stepped up to volunteer as a school board member, but with your role comes state-mandated continuing education requirements on school district governance.

Our experts in school governance—some former board members themselves—work with boards like yours every day to ensure your individual, ongoing growth positively impacts your peers, your school district, and the students in your community. You can trust that TASB knows continuing education training.

In addition to required training on specific topics, you must also receive training based on assessed needs, using the State Board of Education Framework for School Board Development as a guide.

Your required continuing education training is meant to be individualized. With TASB’s continuing education offerings, you can customize your training by deciding which topics to take and how and when you want to take them.
