Ann Calahan


A professor and department head at Tarleton State University, Calahan has been on her local board for 12 years. She has held the position of president since 2004 and has also served as vice-president. She is active in the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development and has held leadership positions in Phi Delta Kappa, Delta Kappa Gamma, and Texas Teacher Educators. She also has been a member of the Consortium for State Organizations of Texas Teacher Educators, Association of Teacher Educators, and Texas Staff Development Council.

Calahan earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and master’s in educational administration at Tarleton State University and her doctorate in curriculum and instruction at Texas A&M University.
