Lindsey McPheeters, Staff Attorney

Lindsey joined TASB Legal Services in May of 2022.

A native of Austin, Lindsey graduated from the University of Texas with a bachelor’s degree in Government and Sociology.  She received her law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York.  Lindsey began her legal career as a juvenile prosecutor in Bronx, New York before moving back to Texas to start her own law practice focused on family law and criminal defense.  Prior to joining TASB, Lindsey worked as a staff attorney and interim general counsel to a large Austin-area school district.  Lindsey also worked for several years as a high school CTE teacher.  

In her free time, Lindsey enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her young daughter.
