2021 TASB/TACCA Post-Legislative Seminar for Community Colleges and Their Attorneys

Virtual Seminar

TASB Community College Services and the Texas Association of Community College Attorneys (TACCA) are partnering to provide a post-legislative seminar for community college board members, administrators, staff, and attorneys through a virtual platform. Community college attorneys will discuss legislation passed by the 87th Texas Legislature on topics that impact your college, including:

  • Budget and Finance
  • Liability
  • Personnel
  • Student Issues
  • Accountability
  • Elections
  • Purchasing and Construction
  • Governance

Registration

The $175 registration fee includes electronic materials and a bound post-legislative summary book prepared by TASB to be shipped to the participants following the event. To register, you must have an active myTASB user ID and password—whether you are registering yourself or others.

An application for accreditation for CLE credit for this activity has been submitted to the MCLE Committee of the State Bar and is pending.

Cancellation

If TASB must cancel the event, TASB will refund registrations in full but will not be responsible for any indirect, special, or consequential damages sustained by the registrant.
