The Community College Administrator’s Guide to Policy Management and the Community College Board Member’s Guide to Policy Management provide an overview of TASB’s board policy manual, discusses the reasons for and logistics of policy changes, and outlines the role of administrative regulations in implementing legal requirements and board policy. The guides, each tailored to the specified audience, are written for community colleges with a local policy manual maintained by TASB. The supplemental Board Policy Manual Style Guide summarizes a few of TASB’s high-level policy style rules and conventions to ensure consistency throughout your college district’s manual.

The Guide to Policy Management for Community College Policy Reference Manual (CCPRM) Subscribers provides an introduction to policy basics, including updates to TASB’s CCPRM. This guide is written for community colleges that subscribe to the CCPRM only and do not use TASB to maintain their local policy manual.
