Danielle Dary, Staff Attorney

Danielle Dary joined TASB Community College Services as a Staff Attorney in September 2018.

Danielle graduated from the University of Oklahoma, with distinction, in 2012 and received her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 2016.

While in law school, she served as the Chief Articles Editor of the Houston Journal of Consumer and Commercial Law, as a student attorney in the Consumer Law Clinic, and as a member of the Blakely Advocacy Institute Moot Court Competition Team. During law school, Danielle clerked at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, the City of Houston Legal Department, and for a civil litigation law firm.

After law school, Danielle joined the Texas A&M University System Office of General Counsel as a Compliance Investigator in its Ethics & Compliance Office. While there, she investigated higher education matters related to Compliance, Ethics, Employment, Civil Rights Discrimination, Title IX/Sexual Harassment, Related Retaliation, and Fraud, Waste & Abuse.

Danielle is a member of the State Bar of Texas school law and individual rights and responsibilities sections, the Austin Young Lawyers Association, and the Austin Black Lawyers Association. She is also a member of the Texas Council of School Attorneys and the National Council of School Attorneys.

In her spare time, Danielle enjoys photography, painting, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
