Student Video Contest

Texas Students: Overcomers. Learners. Achievers.

Thank you for participating in this year's Student Video Contest! After multiple rounds of judging, we finally have our winners! You can now view the winning videos in the gallery. Thank you to all of our participating schools! We appreciate your time and creativity.

Earlier in the school year, the Student Video Contest kicked off with a big ask—create a video showing how your school has learned and grown in the face of adversity.

Rural, urban, big, small—every school community faces its own unique set of challenges each school year. We received dozens of entries showing how schools have boldly overcome barriers to support students, teachers, and public education as a whole.

Classmates collaborated and created videos telling the world about:

  • Challenges the school face and how they overcome it
  • The life skills taught in their school to help them push past adversity
  • How the school works together as a team no matter what
  • How and why Texas public schools are strong, resilient, and successful

Come back in fall of 2022 for updates and details for the next Student Video Contest!
