Formed in 1949, TASB is a voluntary, nonprofit, educational association that serves Texas school districts. That means we are YOUR organization. We provide a wide variety of programs and services to assist you and your district. Take some time to acquaint yourself with the association, its services, its board of directors, and its staff.

Get started with the New Board Member Launch

Our New Board Member Launch helps you to learn about your responsibilities and get oriented as a new trustee. Below are some opportunities creates specifically with your needs in mind.

New Board Member Launch Virtual Event, January 14, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
This full day of learning covers a variety of key topics for new trustees. Join us for a day of learning and earn continuing education credit (CEC). Take a look at the schedule below to see what we have planned for you in January. Register

This event is part of a new trustee training package that includes Online Learning Center (OLC) content such as the required Texas Open Meetings Act and child abuse prevention trainings and a Top 10 series of short courses. In addition, attendees will have full access to all content for 60 days after the event. Log in to the OLC.
