Governance Camp 2021 Conference Registration

Preregistration for Governance Camp opens on Monday, January 25, and closes Friday, February 19.

While we hope to gather in person, we also are making secondary plans to bring Camp directly to you in your own home. We may not be able to swap stories while eating s’mores together in Galveston, but rest assured by the end of the conference, whether we are together in person or online, you’ll walk away inspired having fully experienced Governance Camp.

Registration fee - $395

Pick the schedule that works best for you—pay one fee! We know your time is valuable, so we are sticking to the same schedule as last year and offering unique pre- and post-conference sessions so you can get the most out of your Camp experience.

  • In-depth sessions for new and experienced board members and board officers
  • Breakfast Thursday–Saturday
  • Lunch Thursday and Friday
  • Refreshment breaks Wednesday–Saturday
  • Program materials
  • Up to 16.75 hours of continuing education credit
  • VIP virtual access to Thursday recorded sessions after the conference

Registration cancellation

All registrations must be prepaid by check, credit card or include a district purchase order. If you register but are unable to attend, the following terms will apply:

  1. A registrant may cancel the registration and receive a refund, less $50, if the notification of cancellation reaches the Association by Wednesday, February 17, 2021 (14 days before the event).
  2. Beginning Thursday, February 18, no refunds will be provided, but substitutions will be permitted for eligible persons.
  3. No-shows will not be refunded.

The Registration Coordinator may edit, cancel or make name substitutions through the registration system, accessible online through the event registration webpage.

If the Association must cancel the event, the Association will refund registrations in full, but will not be responsible for any indirect, special, or consequential damages (including transportation, lodging, and meal costs) sustained by the registrant.
