Governance Camp 2024: Conference Registration and Housing Information

Registration and housing open on Wednesday, January 17 at 9 a.m. CST.
Registration information
The Galveston Island Convention Center is small enough to keep the feel of being connected that this conference is known for, while offering a relaxed environment for learning and networking. Main events (general sessions, education sessions, student demonstrations, and meals) will take place at the Galveston Island Convention Center.
The $485 registration fee includes three breakfasts, two lunches, refreshment breaks, receptions, and materials from Wednesday- Saturday.
Housing information
All reservation requests must be made through Convention Housing Management (CHM) and their housing website. CHM is the official Camp housing coordinator. Housing for Camp will only be available to registered attendees.
In order to receive the CHM housing link, you must first register for Camp.

Important dates
- Wednesday, January 17: Registration and housing open
- Tuesday, February 6: Last day to reserve rooms at the conference rate and avoid paying CHM processing fee.
- Wednesday, February 7: Late registration and housing terms go into effect. Late registration fee: $534; reservations require an email or phone call to CHM
Students and chaperones
Districts may send up to ten high school students and two chaperones on Friday, March 1, FREE of charge. Find more information on how to register and guidelines for attendance, contact kathy.dundee@tasb.org.
*Students participating in Camp by presenting or exhibiting will receive registration and housing information if their submission is accepted.
