Student Solutions Webinar Series

TASB Student Solutions is hosting a special webinar series on legal considerations for special student populations during the COVID-19 pandemic. The four-part series runs May 13 through June 3.

Facility Services Training

Facility Services trainings scheduled in April are canceled. The Facility Services Training page will include updates on possible plans to reschedule.

TASB Risk Management Fund

The TASB Risk Management Fund Members’ Conference (April 20–21) is canceled.

2020 SHARS conference moving online

TASB Special Education Solutions' is hosting the annual SHARS conference online. The conference will be held as a webinar on May 1. 

All conference registrants will be automatically enrolled in the webinar. The conference is free for TASB members, and members can register online.

TASB HR Services

All TASB HR Services training events for April and June have been canceled.

Legislative Advisory Council (LAC)

The LAC meeting scheduled for April 25 has been canceled. TASB Governmental Relations staff will distribute a survey to LAC representatives to gather input on the statewide advocacy priorities.

BoardBook 

Online trainings are being held as scheduled. Check the schedule to register for an online training

Online Learning Center 

With in-person continuing education options being cancelled or postponed, the TASB Online Learning Center (OLC) is another option to help you find ongoing professional development programs. The TASB OLC offers courses for varied levels of board service experience, including: 

  • First time board members
  • Experienced board members
  • Specialized board duties such as board officers
