The first ever XG Summit was held at in Austin in 2017. Nationally respected thought leaders—Tom Alsbury, Tim Waters, Ivan Lorentzen, Bill McCaw, and Harry Heiligenthal—shared research and suggestions for eXceptional Governance. In addition, there were showcases highlighting the promising practices from across Texas that support and enhance learning from this research.

The next XG Summit will be held in January 2021.
