Amarillo-area board members, superintendents, and business and community leaders came together April 27 for the Business/Education Forum, where they discussed effective approaches in partnering for student success.

Panel-2.jpgIn the second group’s presentation, attendees learned how school-business partnerships thrive in small and rural school districts, providing a wide range of opportunities for students.

Throughout his tenure in the Legislature, he has been a vocal defender of Texas students and teachers, celebrating the good news of public education while highlighting the challenges educators face in keeping standards high.
