Get Ready for the 2020 Delegate Assembly

The 2020 Delegate Assembly will be held October 3 during the TASA | TASB Convention in Dallas. Mark your calendar, and make sure your board has a voice!

Your board may appoint one delegate and one alternate to serve as your representatives during the Assembly.

TASB is focused on the health and safety of our members and the communities they serve. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic in the coming months.

Take Action!

Local school boards need to do three things to have a voice at Delegate Assembly:

  1. Register your board’s delegate and alternate. Superintendents and administrative assistants can access registration in myTASB. Or complete the delegate registration form (pdf) and submit to TASB.
  2. Submit Advocacy Resolutions for the 2020–22 TASB Advocacy Agenda. Deadline to submit resolutions is June 15.
  3. Follow the TASB Board of Directors nominations. Twelve positions are open this year. Nominations are due June 30, and the endorsement period is July 3–August 31.
