Chapter 37 Offenses and Consequences Chart (PDF)
Revised May 2016

This chart is provided by Legal Services to assist school officials in determining the appropriate disciplinary responses to student offenses committed both on and off campus. The chart is based on the requirements of Texas Education Code Chapter 37 and common provisions of local districts’ Student Codes of Conduct. Before making any final disciplinary decision, school officials should always consult their local Student Code of Conduct.
