NSBA Advocacy Institute

School board members are in the ideal leadership role to inform Congress about what works and what does not work in public education. You have an important message to share with Congress and the White House: Support our public school students!

Join fellow school trustees from across the nation to deliver that message during the National School Boards Association Advocacy Institute. Formerly known as the Federal Relations Network Conference, the Institute has been revamped to improve the only event that enables trustees to influence federal education policy through meetings with U.S. senators and members of Congress during one coordinated event featuring trustees from across the nation. Attendees also receive briefings from the National School Boards Association (NSBA) and TASB staff on federal issues and their impact on local school districts.

TASB offers a registration stipend for some trustees nominated by their school boards to attend Advocacy Institute. Download the nomination form.
