TASB is working with area trustees, superintendents, and ESC 16 to host this Business/Education Forum at ESC 16 in Amarillo on Thursday, April 27, 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. The goal is to create a conversation about how business and community groups can work together with school districts to benefit schools, teachers, and students.
Business/Education Forums have been hosted in Austin, San Antonio, and Houston over the past two years, and have attracted growing numbers of participants to discuss the wide variety of possible business/education partnerships.
There is no charge for this event, but advance registration is required to reserve your place in the conversation. We want to fill the room, half school representatives (administrators, trustees, etc.) and half business/community representatives. Lunch will be provided, and the noontime keynote speaker will be Chairman Jimmie Don Aycock. Seating is limited for this event.
Don’t miss this important day of discussions. Mark your calendar now.
