(Austin)—The Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) has reelected Greg Welch of Clyde CISD to a three-year term on the TASB Board of Directors, representing TASB Region 14.

Welch has been on the Clyde CISD Board for 19 years, where he has served 10 years as president and three years as vice-president. Since 2010, he has served as board secretary for the Callahan County Appraisal District Board. He also has been active on the boards of multiple youth sports organizations.

He attended Angelo State University and went on to work as a machinist and production manager at Froman Manufacturing.  Welch currently works as a manufacturing plant manager for Ludlum Measurement, Inc., where he has been employed since 2002.
