Leaders in Literacy Book Drive

Join fellow WGLS participants in a book drive for children living in local homeless shelters. According to the Library of Congress, “Young people who read are not only more
knowledgeable, they are also better citizens and more engaged in the world around them.” Help ensure this special group of children has the tools for success. Bring new or gently worn books—appropriate for children and young people ages five through 18 years old—and put them in the boxes marked “Leaders in Literacy” in the registration area.
