Leslie Richardson Story, Senior Attorney

Leslie has been with TASB Legal Services since May of 2005.  As senior attorney, Leslie coordinates TASB Legal Service's publications and develops and reviews community college districts' legal and local policies.  In addition, Leslie is a frequent presenter at regional and state-wide training events on a variety of school law topics including open government, school district liability, and current legal developments.

Leslie graduated magna cum laude from Baylor University in 1999 with a B.A. in the University Scholars program.  She received her law degree from The University of Texas School of Law in 2002.  During law school, Leslie interned for the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals and worked in the Children's Rights Clinic.

From 2002 to 2005, Leslie was an associate in the general litigation group at Strasburger & Price in Dallas, Texas, where she represented a variety of clients, including governmental entities.

Leslie is a member of the State Bar of Texas school law section, the Texas Council of School Attorneys, and the National Council of School Attorneys.  Leslie is also actively involved in her community, volunteering through the Junior League of Austin.
