HR Services is poised and proud to roll out several service enhancements during 2008:
DataCentral. DataCentral is our new, online survey application and it’s on its way to HR Services’ members this fall. It will include salary surveys and an exciting new feature: subscribers will have instant access to customized survey reports at the click of a mouse. With this new tool, it will be much easier for district employees to complete salary surveys and the data will be available to districts sooner.
DataCentral’s features don’t stop with salary surveys. The application also includes HR surveys that focus on policies and practices that affect our members. For example, would you like to know who pays the cost to fingerprint nonexempt employees in most districts? Or the length of the typical principal contract? With DataCentral, HR Services will be able to provide useful and timely feedback on human resource issues.
The cost to add DataCentral to a district’s subscription is only $200 to $700, depending on your district’s size. Members can upgrade their HR Services subscription with their annual renewal in September. Watch HR Services’ Web site for more information and a demo of DataCentral in the next few months.
HR Services will continue to offer a regular subscription (without DataCentral). Subscribers at this level will receive Salaries and Benefits in Texas Public Schools survey reports in a pdf format.
HR Exchange. A new and improved format for our monthly newsletter will be coming to you in July. Readers will note a spruced-up design and easy navigation through the newsletter’s content and archives. In addition, you’ll be able to share articles with colleagues and handle routine functions with the click of a mouse. The result will be a more useful HR research tool.
Member Library. We’re also putting a new face on the Member Library this summer. The web-friendly format will simplify the process of finding information. Easy keyword searches and intuitive navigation menus will allow you to access the forms and information you want when you want them.
