October 13th, 2010, is Texas Education Human Resources Day and, on behalf of TASB HR Services, I want to thank each and every one of you for the important contributions you make to our public schools. After decades of research on what makes schools more effective, we know that it all boils down to the quality of the teachers and staff who work in them. You are the gatekeepers who work to recruit and retain the best and brightest employees for our schools.
So thank you for your service. Thank you for making our public schools a great place to work. And thank you for the care and support you extend daily to the teachers, principals, and all other employees who work in Texas public schools.
